EACH General Assembly

The EACH General Assembly is the sovereign body of the association, with all the powers that are assigned by the applicable laws or necessary, to achieve the goals of the Association. These includes the General Association Management which includes the of approving the EACH Articles of Association, new members, the Board and the annual accounts.

EACH Board

The EACH Board is responsible for the implementation of the decisions of the EACH General Assembly and the management of the Association, except for those matters expressively reserved to the General Assembly by the applicable laws and EACH  Articles of Association.  The proposal of the EACH bi-annual strategy and its implementation are part of the tasks of the EACH Board.

 

Policy Committee

The EACH Policy Committee is responsible for monitoring the EACH policy work under the guidance of the EACH Board. This translates into coordinating the EACH advocacy campaigns conducted at EU and international level, providing input to the EACH Board and the EACH General Assembly on policy matters concerning clearing, as well as developing and providing input on clearing-related policy matters to EU and international Authorities.

EACH Risk Committee

The role of the EACH Risk Committee is to discuss all risk-related topics concerning Clearing. This involves sharing information and views on a European and EU-level and, where appropriate, national and third-country Risk Management and Risk Governance issues relating to clearing.

Legal Committee

The EACH Legal Committee is responsible for advising the EACH Board and General Assembly, as well as other EACH Committees and Working Groups, on clearing-related legal matters when necessary, for instance by providing input concerning legislation interpretation and application.

Energy Clearing Working Group

The purpose of the EACH Energy Clearing Working Group is to monitor the EACH work on energy clearing-related matters under the guidance of the EACH Policy Committee. The Working Group is also tasked with providing input on energy clearing-related matters to EU and international Authorities, as well as developing responses to consultations, surveys and questionnaires related to energy clearing, following the guidance provided by the EACH Policy Committee.

EMIR Trade Reporting Working Group

The objective of the EACH EMIR Trade Reporting Working Group is to monitor the EACH work on trade reporting-related matters under the guidance of the EACH Policy Committee, developing responses to consultations, position papers as well as surveys on issues concerning trade reporting (e.g. CCP data quality) , as well as providing input to EU and international bodies (e.g. ESMA, ESRB) following the guidance of the EACH Policy Committee.

EACH Risk-Free Rates Working Group

The EACH Risk-Free Rates Working Group serves as a forum for CCPs to discuss matters related to risk-free rates, and is tasked with providing, on an ad-hoc basis,  input to the other EACH Committees and working Groups, as well as EU Authorities, on topics related to the transition to risk-free rates as an alternative to previous benchmarks.

EACH Securities Operations Working Group (SOWG):

The purpose of the EACH SOWG is to discuss all securities operations related issues in clearing (e.g. CSDR, T+1, etc.). This involves sharing information and views on a European and EU-level and, where appropriate, national and third-country operational issues relating to clearing.

EACH DORA Task Force

The objective of the EACH DORA Task Force is to provide a forum for CCPs to discuss topics related to the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and operational resilience in general. The Task Force develops responses to consultations and positions papers regarding operational resilience, and provides tailor-made input to EU and international authorities when necessary.

EACH Cyber Security TF

The purpose of the EACH Cyber Security TF is to provide a forum for CCPs to discuss Cyber related topics. This work began with the EACH Paper on Core CCP Principles for Cyber Security.
